In this class, you will create a mood board for your room and discuss planning the remodel. I will also teach you some basic planning principles about designing a room. This supply list can include items you have around the house or a quick trip to a craft store. You do not have to have product samples. I often begin with pictures and then build out from there - which we will discuss in class. If you wish to create in Canva or Pinterest that is okay also in the beginning.
You pick the room to decorate, and I’ll help you build your dream. Let's get started.
- Notebook, Pen, or Pencil
- Scissors, Ruler is optional
- Glue Stick or Glue Tape
- Poster Board, sketchbook, or dot-matrix journal
- Magazines, Catalogs, Internet Pictures of Furniture you plan on using
- Printed picture of any item you want in the room
- Color Wheel
- Paint chips or a Fan Deck from the Paint Store you use. Often at your store, they are less expensive - I have had them given to me since I purchase paint from them.
- Product Chips or Samples, Flooring Sample
- Fabric, if it is your jumping-off place
