This is how I begin every project - figuring out how to proceed by creating a room mood board - for both my clients and myself. I understand wanting the project to go smoothly (with family liking the ideas). I don’t like to hastily make decisions then not liking my choices. I just want to enjoy the process and love my finished space. I have moved quite a few times in the past decade, so I have been where you are right now. 

In this class we will create a mood board that helps in the planning process by:

• Exploring the options available on paper before ordering or purchasing.
• Allowing you to check out pricing and availability. This allows adjustments in the budget and design before any work or purchasing begins.
• This simple process broken down into manageable steps. (Decisions are built on each other with work flowing as planned. This is the next step we will talk about before you leave the class.)

Starting with the mood board is a fun project. And once completed it makes the rest of the project go smoothly because decisions are made and you can create a schedule that works for everyone.

What we'll do ~

In this class, you will create a mood board for your room and discuss planning the remodel. I will also teach you some basic planning principles about designing a room.The supply list will be provided once you sign up. You do not have to have product samples. I often begin with pictures and then build out from there - which we will discuss in class.It is on Zoom so we can chat and work together. You pick the room to decorate, and I’ll help you build your dream. Let's get started.
